Trolley to the Beach, presented by Eric DuVall, is a survey of suburban public transportation in the first half of the 20th Century in San Diego, California, and a fun, multi-media presentation detailing how the city grew.  What became known as “streetcar suburbs,” such as Ocean Beach, were hard to get to before Charlie Collier brought the Point Loma Railroad around the bay and over the hill in 1909.  The program includes the very short film The OB Loop of the Point Loma Railroad, and a few installments of the popular then-and-now feature Where was Waldo Then?
