About SDSU Global Campus

SDSU Global Campus is the former College of Extended Studies, which served SDSU for 70 years. Over the decades, our mission has remained the same – to provide innovative, accessible, and impactful learning to a diverse global community and helping them to meet their personal, academic, and professional goals. 

Today, SDSU Global Campus brings SDSU to the world. We offer access to more than 100 SDSU undergraduate, graduate, and advanced certificate programs in an online and/or hybrid modality. Additionally, SDSU Global Campus offers professional development and training courses that address skill gaps in regional industries through the Career Skills Institute. SDSU Global Campus is a portal to SDSU courses. Through Open University, the community has access to more than 200 SDSU classes on a space-availability basis, and the 50 and better community engage with unique educational opportunities and events through our partnership with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

Finally, SDSU Global Campus also serves the international community by providing access to SDSU courses and degrees to students from nearly 120 countries. International students looking to improve their English-speaking skills also have access to intensive English language programs.

SDSU Global Campus is the primary entity responsible for expanding access to SDSU’s programs to learners everywhere. In fact, 1 in 6 SDSU students is a Global Campus learner.
