My name is Jacky Rios, and I am an educator and student support professional committed to creating inclusive, reflective, and community‑centered learning environments. I focus on helping individuals explore their identities, lived experiences, and sense of belonging through storytelling and dialogue. Throughout my work in equity-driven programs across San Diego, I’ve had the privilege of supporting diverse communities and witnessing how personal narrative can foster connection and healing. I approach every space with warmth, compassion, and cultural humility. In this course, I aim to cultivate a welcoming environment where learners can explore their migration stories with curiosity and courage.
