Who is a Transfer Student?

If you have taken any college-level classes since the summer beyond your high school graduation, you are a transfer student.

SDSU Global Campus accepts transfer applications only from upper-division transfer or readmission applicants who will have completed 60 or more transferable semester (or 90 or more quarter) units by the end of the fall term prior to spring transfer and the end of the spring term prior to fall transfer. SDSU Global Campus does not accept transfer applications from lower-division students with fewer than 60 transferable semester units.

Out-of-State Applicants
While we welcome out-of-state students, SDSU Global Campus currently cannot accept applications from students residing in some specific states. Please check back often, as this list of approved states does change. View the list of authorized states here.

Transfer Admission Requirements

Admission decisions for any of our Online Degree Completion programs are based on the self-reported information provided on the Cal State Apply application.

If you are admitted, your admission is provisional pending verification of the self-reported information on your Cal State Apply application using your official transcript(s). To ensure accuracy, refer to your college transcripts or education plan.
