Matthew Hansen

Matthew Hansen brings more than 20 years of experience leading programs in military and organizational settings. He specializes in translating strategic objectives into executable plans, guiding cross-functional teams, and supporting effective outcomes in complex environments. His experience includes work in procurement and contracting, along with advising senior leaders, supporting teams, managing risk, and contributing to data-informed decision-making.

He is a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, with an M.S. in Information Systems and a B.S. in Management. He is currently completing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership and Innovation.

In addition to his professional experience, Matthew is an experienced instructor and curriculum developer. He has designed and delivered leadership, innovation, and professional education, emphasizing practical application, case-based learning, and real-world scenarios.

Matthew teaches Procurement in the Project Management Certificate program.
